FARNHAM, 17th March 2008 AMTEC Consulting today reported record third quarter revenues of £7.8
million, up 83% from the same period last year. The latest figures take
year-to-date revenue to £22.4 million, with operating profit up by 43%. "These figures fully endorse our sales forecast of £28.5m for the
current financial year (2007/08), with a projected revenue growth of 57% over
the previous financial year," says AMTEC MD Craig Wilson. "This impressive level of growth is directly related to our ability
to continually adapt and develop our capabilities to meet the needs of the
public sector," he adds. "For example, in recent assignments
we have utlised 'Lean' techniques to support the delivery of
change for clients in both central government and defence." Key to recent success is the company's uniquely broad coverage across the
Catalist framework, through which the UK public sector procures
consultancy and resourcing services to support business change projects. Over
£550 million of government procurement will be processed through the catalogue
this year. During its third quarter, AMTEC was also one of only four suppliers to win a
place on a prestigious new consultancy framework awarded
by Defra, a cabinet-level department with whom the company enjoys a
long-standing relationship. ends | Media enquiries
